Mitochondria

Hello and this will be my first entry about one of the cell organelles. This organelle is called the Mitochondria. I call this cell the Mity Mitochondria. Ok so the mitochondria is one of the main organelles in the cell structure. In this entry you will learn what the mitochondria is.

The Mitochondria is basically the organelle that provides energy for the cell. It once you eat the mitochondria takes the energy. You could also say that its like the power plant of the cell.what is really cool about the mitochondria is that on some cell there just might be one but on other cells there might be a thousand mitochondria's.

The mitochondria is usually found in all eukaryotes. They can vary in size or position in the cell depending on the cell. The mitochondria contains an outer and inner membrane. The two membranses though have different properties.  Because of the double membrane there are five compartments within the mitochondria. Thank you for reading.
